What are the benefits of laser nail fungus treatment?
Laser treatment is an alternative to topical and oral antifungal treatments and an effective way to eliminate nail fungus. The laser works by heating the nail and killing the fungus that has infected it. The laser monitors the nail temperature during the treatment for safety.
What should I expect during the procedure?
You may experience some warmth of the nail during treatment but the risk of side-effects is very low. Once the fungus is treated, it may take 6 to 9 months for new, healthy nail to grow.
