Laser Peels and Resurfacing

What are the benefits of laser peels and resurfacing?

Laser resurfacing removes the thin outer layer of skin (epidermis) and heats the underlying skin (dermis), which stimulates the growth of new collagen and elastin. As the epidermis heals and regrows, the treated area appears smoother and tighter. We offer several types of laser resurfacing options. Our aesthetics manager offers free consultations to tailor treatments to your specific goals and needs.

What can I expect during a laser resurfacing appointment?

We aim to balance your comfort with a treatment outcome that meets your expectations. We offer oral sedation, topical numbing, injected nerve blocks, nitrous oxide, and/or forced air cooling before, during and immediately after your treatment.

Depending on the goals and expectations of each patient, we vary the depth of the treatment. For superficial lines, you may have redness, mild swelling, and peeling of the skin a day or two after treatment. For deeper lines and acne scars, you can expect pinpoint bleeding, swelling, redness, and possibly superficial blisters and peeling in the days to weeks after the treatment.
